AMS inflation data to monitor an economic shock like no other
The first stop in economic analysis is always to look for historical comparisons, consciously or not. The trouble is, this tariff shock is like no other.

While the shock's transmission channels are very much uncertain, timely data becomes even more critical.
We present here two use cases for our unique inflation data, pertinent to current developments:
* the NIPI as an early indicator for inflation expectations
* a supply chain inflation measure derived from the News Volumes available in the NewsBot app
When trained for highly specialized applications and fed with the right data, Language Models have their part to play to help fill data voids.
